SMA

SMA stands for SubMiniature Version A and describes semi-precision coaxial RF connectors that are used in applications ranging from 1 GHz to 18 / 26.5 GHz (depending on the version). SMA connectors are in relation to other connectors quite small, due to the screw lock. Nevertheless they are mechanically very durable and robust.
